Unmarked Graves Located in Family Plot Using GPR - GA

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. was recently asked to assist on a project at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia. GPRS was asked to determine the location of unmarked graves in a family plot in the cemetery. GPR is a great tool for the detection of unmarked graves, as it does not require any excavation to determine the presence of an object beneath the surface. GPR is also used to determine the presence of underground utility lines and underground storage tanks in plants, factories, and other occupied spaces because it does not emit harmful radiation, produces virtually no noise or interference, and will not disturb business operations. It can also be used to determine the presence of obstructions in concrete prior to saw cutting or drilling.
