Reinforcement in Concrete Walls Detected - TN
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee was contacted by a general contractor for a project to expand stadium seating in the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at the University of Mississippi. Two pre-cast concrete walls located on the south end zone were scanned for reinforcement by GPRS. A GSSI 1600 MHz antenna was utilized for this scope of work. All findings were marked directly on the concrete surface for the contractor who was then able to determine where to drill, without compromising the integrity of the wall.
