Locating Post Tension Cables - NC

On March 14th 2016 Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey. The purpose of this survey was to locate the post tension cables that were present in the concrete slab prior to saw cutting. The grid pattern for the cables were marked on the concrete so the customer would know the exact location prior to saw cutting for electrical lines and plumbing.

We used a GSSI (Geophysical Survey Systems, Inc) Ground Penetrating Radar Unit with one specific antenna. The antenna used on this project was a 1600 mhz antenna.
