Locates Utilities Prior to Trenching in VA

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Virginia was utilized to detect underground utilities prior to trenching. A runway lighting installation company needed assistance in locating underground utilities before trenching for new conduits. GPRS Project Manager Josiah Donaldson verified the location, depth, and direction of several live conduits and abandoned lines. Prior to trenching, the contractor hand-dug an electric line marked by GPRS. It revealed trench tape and a live conduit underneath at precisely the depth annotated.

GPRS of Virginia performs GPR concrete and ground scanning to locate underground storage tanks, utilities, and subsurface anomalies.
