GPRS Locates Utilities At Fueling Facilities - Phoenix, AZ

Locate Utilities At Fueling Facilities - Phoenix, AZ.jpg

GPRS’s office in Phoenix, AZ. was hired by D & M Engineering to locate utilities at two separate fueling facilities for the airport. The above photo gives a small view of what our markings look like when we locate a huge bank of electrical conduits buried beneath the surface. D & M hired GPRS to locate all of the utilities around the control building so they are able to record the findings and upload them into a map for there client prior to any type of subsurface work that is required at this facility. GPRS used multiple methods to locate these utilities including GPR and the typical locating wand with transmitter. GPRS was able to locate all necessary underground utilities that were previously pointed out on an outdated as-build drawing. The client had an idea of what was to be located but needed the exact locations of each of the underground lines and we were able to provide that for them.

Along with marking all findings on the ground with either pin flags or paint, GPRS also offers a service of collecting all the findings with a GPS and putting it into a google earth overlay or CAD for future reference. We can typically have the google earth overlay to the customer in 3 to 4 business days.
