GPRS Locates Underground Storage Tank SC

A local electrical contractor working on modifications on a local hospital property in Georgetown, SC recently contacted GPRS to help locate utilities and assist with the detection and removal of an underground storage tank using GPR. Grid scans with the 400 MHz ground penetrating radar antenna were performed to ensure and locate the main electrical line feed from the light poles to the main panel box. GPRS also utilized a radio detection device which helped in locating live electrical power and communication lines. GPR is an accurate and effective way to help locate underground utilities and the detection of Underground Storage Tanks as well as any other material that may be underground.
