Environmental Restoration Company Uses GPRS

GPRS was recently contacted by an environmental restoration company that was working on a project at the Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma. Their team was working to prevent possible contamination in the area by boring for soil samples and installing monitoring wells. Before drilling in these areas, the underground utilities needed to be identified and marked so they could be avoided. Ground Penetrating Radar with assistance from a Radio Detection device were used to properly detect the utilities so the team could safely work in these areas. Andy Dermer – GPRS Oklahoma – examined the areas in question and mapped out the obstructions so they could drill with confidence. Since the data is displayed in real time, the areas were marked easily, and the team could move forward with their process without worry of injury.
